What's the deal with them? The song is catchy and all, but unless I'm mistaken, I think the lyrics are about nuking the Middle East. Is he joking? Am I mishearing him? And if not, why's the song in DDR? _________________ It's behind everything. It's the root, the core, the center and the soul. Everything is built on it, and without it you have nothing. I dunno, but despite the title it sounds a bit more like the artist is promoting pacifism...basically saying how violence is the last resort of the incompetant. As for nuking the Middle East, I don't see anything even remotely alluding to that statement. But to each their own interpretation I suppose.

Oh...I heard "terrorists always make these mistakes" and "it's easy to blow them all away," and assumed he was taking about actual bombs and the Mioddle East. What I could make out of the other lines just seemed like he was trying to stop himself from seeming like a psycho, although that'd be pretty impossible if he really was suggesting nuking the Middle East. _________________ It's behind everything. This is the key to what you're asking about. He's basically saying "you don't need to resort to violence to solve your problems, use your brain to drop your bombs, not a finger on a button."

The conflict in the Middle East started WAY before 9/11, so it wasn't an invalid question.

But no, Drop the Bomb is about using means other than war and weapons to achieve goals.
