whether it's a good brand or not, you're still buying from ebay... i'd say you have a 50/50 chance that those pads are garbage, event though they look nice. _________________

They're not RedOctane. If you want RedOctane Ignitions, go to http://redoctane.com |

If that is indeed a picture of the pads (which it may not be) those are Ignition knock-offs, not actual RedOctane brand Ignitions. RedOctanes don't have the additional buttons (down-left/Square and down-right/triangle).
This auction seems to be selling a genuine RedOctane, but there's no Buy It Now on it. The price is rather cheap, though. |

RedOctane also sells on EBay under their company name. |

So long as they are the same pads as they are showing (which is two different ones by the way) The first pair I had which are the all silver ones that they show on the bottom, mine lasted about 6 months modded. The second pair which is up at the top was my most recent pair that I retired last month that lasted me 9 months modded.
With all the talk of malfunctioning ROs... and the difference in price, personally I'd go this route. If you learn you truly like Ignitions and feel the need to pay $100 or so for a single one, then go for a Red Octane in the future. _________________
