DWI file question

Im a total noob to this stuff and I want to know why my songs aint working on SM. I downloaded a ton of DWIs from www.ddruk.com and they dont seem to work. I make the folders correct and every thing.

Also do the DWIs have the song in them? Casue in the things I downloaded I got no Mp3s or wavs.

the songs are mp3s that are in the folder. when you download the file, you have to extract it and put it in the songs file in you stepmnia folder. for example, the path to .59 on my computer looks like this

C:\Program Files\StepMania\Songs\bemani originals\.59

you just have to put it in a folder that has the name on it (DDRUK files already do) and then put it in to songs file under stepmania.

I have been having a problem with this to. When i download the DWI file, I open it with smpackage. But after that, I dont know how to do the path thing.

Im a noob at this stuff so can you plz help

Step 1. Inside the folder named "songs" make a folder, and name it whatever you want. Step 2. Download your file from ddruk. When it's finished, find it, and double click on the file, it will be "songtitle".zip, or something close to that. Extract the folder into your group folder.

So is there a site where I can get the DWI songs? I downloaded Not My Battle and have it and I know how to get the songs extracted and to play and everything... Can I use ANY song on DWI? How would I make the steps for it? Thanks, I just DL'ed DWI today, so I'm sorry for all the questions, and I did read the FAQ...

i really dont know if this will bring any help but i just copeyed the dwi files form a song and copyed it in to the folder of the song you are makeing. then go in to SM and go to edit/ sync songs. then you can edit the sone and record it.
