|
|
My first problem is with Stepmania (all versions)...every time I try to play the game, colors starts flashing across the screen, and the entire screen turns into a big jumble of colors, rendering the program (and Windows) either extremely difficult to use, or virtually unusable until I reset. The problem usually starts right around the music selection screen.
The other problem is with DWI. When I go to the Joypad configuration screen, I can't get any stomps on my pad's arrows to register. the corner buttons, as well as Select and Start, work fine, but not the arrows. I'm assuming this is a problem with the program since the arrows register fine in StepMania.
Any help is appreciated. TIA. |

I'm running RC2 (though I tried with RC1).
My comp's specs are as follows:
AMD Athlon XP 2600
1GB PC2700 DDRAM
80GB HD/200GB HD
Radeon 9600XT 256MB video card |

Your specs are FAAAAAAAR superior to the stepmania minimum requirements.
Hmmm, do you have the newest version of Direct X?
As for the DWI/Pad thing, Stepmania is more user friendly in the sense of connecting the usb devices to have pad play. _________________

Installed it, and it didn't help....but I think I already had the newest version of DX. Any other suggestions?
Also, re DWI...I just bought another pad (the one I'm using belongs to a friend). If one pad is having troubles with DWI on my comp, will another one stand a chance of working (with a new adapter)? |
