Are DDR Extreme and DDR Ultramix 2 harder than Ultramix 1?

Maybe it's just me but I got both DDR Extreme and Ultramix 2 for Christmas and they both seem a lot harder than Ultramix 1. I've been playing Ultramix 1 almost everyday for over a year so that might be why. I think I might have gotten to used to Ultramix 1 and so the other 2 games seem harder now. I've pretty much mastered Ultramix 1, I've beaten all the songs beginner to heavy with A's and I've even tried speed mods and the different options such as reverse and mirror mode. Anyway, the other day I started to try out Extreme and Ultramix 2 and found them very different. I immediately started out with heavy mode and I was doing horrible and I was getting so frustrated that I had to move down to standard mode. Has anyone else had this problem?

You have to get used to the timing in tose versions
