Isn't even really a beginner? I have very very little experience.
Right now I am thinking about a RedOctane Ignition pad and DDR extreme.

im guessing you have played DDR at the arcade/at a friends house for a short period of time and can do light mode pretty well. I learned to play 9 footers on the Konami Soft Pad and DDRMAX2/DDRExtreme, so you should look into that. Just don't buy a MadCatz pad.
