Ok, my friend brought over his PS2 and DDRMAX 1 and 2. I pretty much played all night with another friend since I was allowed to borrow it over night. I played for about 6 hours straight.
Now I was always told that your calf muscles should be sore, seeing as how I play on the balls of my feet. But this morning I woke up and my calf muscles were fine, but my quads hurt like a biatch. I like, can't even walk up my stairs because it hurts so bad. Is this normal? _________________

Playing for six straight hours can do that to you. It happens to me whenever I do marathons like that. _________________

well, I had this one experience when I played at home for maybe a little over 2 and a half hours, my quads were killing me too, but never my calfs, I don't know why but I guess it has something to do with the surface we play on, you know, like how out muscle reacts when we play on a softpad than the standard metal arcade pad...it's just the way our muscles react to the different conditions of the pads... _________________

Playing at arcade= Sore calves.
Playing at home= Sore knees and legs.(On a soft/foam mat)
Yeah...that just about sums it up, but if you drink plenty of water and make sure to cool down after getting that AAA Maxx 300 (by playing a round of light/standard) you shouldn't get sore.
If you are sore in the morning play a few rounds of some songs like secret rendevous. |
