Has anyone here played Sly Cooper and the Thevius Raccoonus?
Just figured I'd bring it up, because the fight with the Alligator lady is kind of a rhythm action deal. What did everyone think? _________________

It's somewhat rhythm game related. As he mentioned, one of the boss battles is rhythm based. Specifically, she shoots at you with icons featuring the PSX face buttons and you have to dodge them by hitting the appropriate buttons with the matching rhythm. It's a simple concept, but it's still very nice to see a nod to music games in a mainstream game. _________________

Brave Fencer Musashi had a rhythm mini-game near the end, too.

Sly cooper is an action platformer. There isn't enough rythem involved to be considered a music game. Well, that is my opinion anyway. |

Wow. Were you not paying attention to the part where we explained that one particular boss battle is rhythm based? No one's claiming it's a music game. _________________
