Whats the name of the asian stringed intruments used in songs like Tsugaru and Sakura? I know theyre just digital sounds and not recorded but what are they modeled after?
Any help?
Thanks a bunch,

It's a shamisen. It's a Japanese guitar looking thing that you play with something that looks like a really big pick. The guys in the TSUGARU background are holding shamisens. _________________

that's an obvious answer: Shamisens, after their wooden structure, are lined with cat skin and the strings are made from cat gut.
I swear to god that's no joke. |
