We recently had a ddr competition in our school as part of a school spirit event/competition. The tournament really sparked a lot of interest and a lot of people signed a petition to make it a club! Unfortunatley Im a senior and wont be around for it next year disgust.gif

I have thought about this so many times. But there are many ppl that are idiots and would disregard the whole idea as a "gay" club. Also i have only talked to 3 ppl in my school that play DDR. the tv the pads, and the ps2 would not be a problem to bring in set up and take home, however in every club we need a teacher there. And no teachers that i know play or even heard of DDR. Well if anybody has a good idea of catching other ppl's interests please post.

My friends and I are really into DDR and really want to start a club at school next year. I am sure there would be a lot of interest because there are a lot of kids who play at my school. BUt our one problem is that it is catholic school, and the nuns would probably write off DDR as one of the many sins young people partake in.('disgust.gif') I dont even know how you would explain DDR to nuns...
Anyway, it is a good idea, and I hope we can figure out how to start clubs at school.[/quote]

i got an idea: first, see who will sign a petition to go to the local arcade that has ddr(don't mention that there is a machine there) and see who will chapherone. at least one of the teachers will see you guys playin ddr and then try to ask them if they will watch your club. also, you will meet other ddr players in the school and the club could happen.

Good for you. Nobody in my school plays DDR (that I know of, anyway, and I'm pretty sure I know everyone in my school...well, DID, actually, because I'm going into high school WOOT! E7.gif ). There are a few folks from a school about 30 miles from here that I know, but I don't see them very often. Ah, well. Life goes on. You got it good, man. E2.gif

Allright... heres the conflict. Aparently... each club has to contribute to the society somehow. How can DDR do that?

help with body image and a heightened self-esteem through a better body image, looking better=feeling better. People loose weight nad tone muscle or just tone muscule, unless you eat 3 McDonalds meals a day lol.

my friends and i organized a tournament a while back at our skool and it turned out successful. We convinced are principal into allowing us 2 do it as long as we donated some of tha money to a charity. Thats a good way 2 start if u wanna have 1 in skool.
