No matter what I do, I cannot pass Daddy Brother Lover Little Boy (expert) on 4th Mix. I can pass some songs with higher difficulties like Fly High and I'm Gonna Get You, heck I can even do Primal Soul on 3rd Mix, but I cannot get past DBLLB. Any suggestions at how to get good at this song?
Also, how do I hit those really tight bars (like the really quick red, green, red found in Marionette expert). My fingers can't seem to move that fast.

Tekked - It's not just you. I've found Guitar Freaks to be the most consistently not fun Bemani game of all. At least one third of the songlist is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE for me on difficulty 5...y'know, the one required for high scores to count. A lot of it has to do with the simple mechanics...i.e. you gonna manipulate two controls to play a single note...but I've also noticed that the groove meter is extremely unforgiving on 5.
Also, it's tough to get high scores since the scoring system is based on DDR's, i.e. combo, combo, combo. Mess up even one note anywhere in the song, and you can forget about cracking the high score charts.
I haven't met anyone who seriously wants to get really good at this game. The IIDX gang crows about "challenge" constantly, but even they realize that you gotta draw the line somewhere.
Anyway, my advice is to clear it on 1. Then go back to 5 if you feel like it. |
