A new type of online tournament.... for stepmania.

The stepmania BATTLE STEP TOURNAMENT.

Heres how it goes...

Alright, I want to try to make a online tounament...
Its diffrent from regular tournaments because its sort of a type of "battle" to it. It will require for the person to know how to play DDR and make steps for simulator programs like SM and DWI.

I will pair each person randomly (From the number of people I get intrested) They will be given a week to make their own original steps for The song I choose.

After the week, you e-mail me your step files for approval (To make sure you're not cheap or doing something else) Then, I e-mail you your song files so you can try to get the highest score you can on the steps, you get only one day to get the highest score you can, so be diligent.

After the end of the day, you have to send me a screenshot of the score you got on your opponent's steps and highest score wins.

Ok, heres a summry:
1. Pair up.
2.Make a step file to the song that I tell you to do.
3. Send it to me.
4.I'll send you your opponent's step file.
5. Play the step file, try to get a good score.
6. Post a screenshot of your score.
7.Highest score wins.

So basicly, its kinda like Iron chef, with DDR and more skill then impressing the judges.

That's a REALLY bad idea (don't mean to be harsh) but I'd say over half of the people would be using that cheat where you get all marevlous....but it would be a good idea for a lan center

what you need to do is judge the songs..b/c i can just make a song of all 64 notes and u can never hit them.You should send us the somg..and judge who made the better steps and poopy. Then do that under supervision as like finals.[/code]

This not an entirely bad idea at all, I am always in support of someone trying out new things and whatnots, so I am willing to give it a shot

I like the idea you have here, although there are certain doubts about it, you can never go wrong with a first time attempt at it and go from there, so yeah, me likes
