This pad looks a little different from the ones on ebay and looks sturdier are there any reviews and whatnot about it? I already checked the maetal pad discussion.

If you checked the metal pad thread, then why didn't you post this there?

Looks like a RedOctane knock-off to me. The control box shown in the photo is definitely the RO Xbox/PS2 control box.
