I have seen many of these portables that you can play para pra ddr and other games but is it a good deal to buy one or is it just a waste of money?

From what I have heard about them, they seem to be fun for a few minutes, then they get really old. The music supposedly sucks, as it usually is just a series of bloops and beeps.
