I don't care if you break dance but it's not a good idea to moon walk on the screen mate. It can really damage it so maybe thats why there pissed, but doing stuff off the mat or bar or something like that is nothing to worry about. Tell them to bleep off happy.gif. How the hell do you pull that off anyway? laugh.gif

I'd say that as long as you aren't putting the machine or anyone else at risk (i.e. not being good enough so you accidentally kick the machine or someone else) then I would have no problem with it.

There are very specific rules regarding who is allowed to do what when playing DDR. As the denizens of your arcade clearly know, girls are never allowed to freestyle. They are only allowed to play sugary pop songs on Light and are strictly prohibited from doing well. Attaining a rank of "B" or higher on anything from 1-3 feet or a rank of "C" or higher on a 4 foot song is a severe faux pas for any female player. You may attempt songs rated 5 feet or higher, but if you do you must spend at least 45% of the song standing on the center panel and staring confusedly at the step pattern. Obviously passing such a song is out of the question.

There are other regulations based upon race, age, social group and income. Just ask!

(I really hope it's not necessary to point out that this is sarcasm, but this board is inhabited largely by idiots. If you actually believed that I was serious, you're one of them.)

I assume that you hold on to the bar, jump up, put your feet against the screen, and walk on it.

meh, harming the screen or anyone else would be bad. But as far as I see it, you pay to play, you do what you damn well please. If they have issues, they can get the hell out of there.

I think it's more wrong for people to start moronic threads. Who cares if you're a girl that "breakdances" on the pad or not, for frick sakes if your having fun and not injuring the machine or others, why even ask.

...naturally that's kinda what I was thinking at first...but, at least at the arcade I play at, you'd have to be really tall to do that...

Why would that be wrong? They pay to play just as much as anyone else does. How else is someone gonna practice freestyling or anything else?

Breakdance? And they get mad? By the way, are they "nerd-like" or "punk-like"?

From what I see... Break Dance all you want... too many PAers these days anyways. I can't break dance for poopy, but it's nice seeing routines once in a while... and GOOD Freestyle routines... not retarded standing only spinning n00b routines that too many people lamers do... frust.gif

Anyways, show 'em how it's done! E1.gif

Why do they get mad exactly? Don't tell me that you freestyle the same three song every game, because then I think I found the problem E13.gif
