E4.gif do Double and get two people, one on each Pad and you cooperate during the songs. Play it on heavy and it gets really fun!

it's kinda boring. try deck mode. where you put in enough money for versus mode and you play both pads by yourself. only good for beginner and SOME light...

Yeah, I've seen this a few times in my arcade, but I've never done it because I worry that it would end in failure because I can't transition from the other persons steps quickly and smoothly enough. frown.gif It seems more difficult, though, to do half of a 10-footer in doubles than a 5-footer in singles. I guess that's logical, though. riiight.gif
An easier version (instead of playing both pads by yourself in doubles or two singles) is holding a controller and dancing while playing both. It takes skill even if both are on the same difficulty on singles. It is hard to concentrate on both at the same time.

I offered the same suggestion several months ago E15.gif

It's a lot harder than you think; especially when the arrows are centered around the area "connecting" the two pads; you have to concentrate on your arrows only without trying to step on the other pad. This makes some songs quite rhythmically difficult.

I tried a similar version, with me on a controller and my little brother on a pad.

I know for one that doubles at home is a bad idea...*points to hole in the wall at the bottom of the stairway and scar on right shoulder*
still my fav thing involving 2 pads was battle mode from 4th mix and konamix (only one's I played it on, were there others?) which was the most fun, and confusing thing i remember riiight.gif

I do this all the time on my 1st mix machine Couple Basic, Boom Boom Doller is fun just that doing the splits to hit the jumps that use the 1P left and 2P right arrows kinda get dangerous and can hurt if you slip off the edge of the stage.
But Silent Hill on DDR Extrem is a good song to use. 1P set to Begginer 2P set to Basic most of the song you can alternate between the sides just watchout for the L/R jumps on both side at the same time.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

They should definitely revive Unison for Extreme US. On 3rd Mix (jp, home), it is wildly amusing when you play on Maniac. Especially 9's.
