Hello
After 3 years of playing DDR - I have finally convinced myself... and my wife to buy a Cobalt Flux.
I started out playing DDR Second Remix om my Dreamcast, and have since then bought a Japanese PS2 + DDRMAX JP, DDRMAX 2 JP, DDR EXTREME JP, and DDR PARTY COLLECTION JP.
Here are the pads that I have used since I started:
* 2 x Topway soft pads for Dreamcast
* 2 x Topway soft pads for PS2
* 1 x Metal Arcade Platform as seen on ddrseattle
* 1 x Cyphergames Metal Platform
* 2 x Deluxe Ignition pads as seen on Lik-Sang and Play Asia.
Most of the pads have been ok but I have just about had enough of ghoststeps and cracked plastic arrows.
I have wanted to buy a Cobalt Flux for a LONG time - but since I live in Denmark, Europe - it is EXTREMELY expensive to buy because of the shipping, toll, and tax.
I was planning to buy the Lik-Sang metal pad with backbar - but after reading some less than great reviews - I decided not to.
Now I have finally ordered a Cobalt Flux V2 from an importer in Sweden, and the total price for 1 CF incl. shipping, toll, tax, and sleepless nights is 592 $ !!!
I REALLY hope it is worth it...
My wife and I play DDR for about 30 minutes every night in our hometheater which can be seen here:

When my CF arrives I will put up some pictures and videos if people are interested.

someone has a LOT of money to throw around
Anyway, it looks like you can afford it from the picture. If you can afford that I don't know why you didn't just buy a machine yourself _________________

LOL
No - actually you can't use the picture as a reference at all...
We were just lucky enough to be selected for a Danish television program called "Room Service"
They had an interior decorator who designed and made the room look the way it does - and the TV station payed for it...

i dont think the cobalt flux is worth it even living in the US, i just dont like it much.
take that money, learn a little bit of building and make yourself a better pad for cheaper. _________________
