I just went there today and it was the first time i have seen the updated version of the site and now i don't even know how to get to the simfiles any more when it used to be so easy.

i just registered a new name on there, and i was just flippin' through threads, and i think i read that all of the simfiles got deleted. ;_;

Meh, most of the original simfiles on there were crap anyway. The ones worth keeping (I.E the official ones) Will be back soon enough.

Yes, all the simfiles were deleted.

Downloading new ones will depend on the token system (or so I gather) You get tokens for uploading and you use up tokens for downloading. This is to stop people just appearing and leeching files.

And yes. As an ex-simfile mod over there, I can safely say that most of the stuff in the archive was crap

Bemanistyle should have the simfiles section up and ready soon. Keith's been workin hard to modify the codings to make it MUCH easier to get the simfiles that you want. Now, the only bad part is having people re-upload their files yet again, which is gonna take a WHILE, considering that people can't upload more than 5 files a day, according to the rules.

Now, the only real problem i have now with Bemanistyle is the fact that I can't log on the damn site itself. Yes, I signed up for the new 6.0 version, but for some programming erroneus reason, the site coding claims that my username is invalid. I've registered again as a different user, and was on the site, but still same result as my primary username the next day. What's up with that?

i just hope the points system isnt too restrictive.
a lot of people link to bemanistyle from their web sites and im worried it will affect that...
i know id get put off if i saw a page full of cool simfiles ad when i clicked it it wouldnt let me because i hadnt registered or something...

The whole point of the tokens system is to stop the site getting bogged down by leechers. Now you have to earn what you download rather than just appearing and downloading it thanklessly.

But the simfiles won't cost tokens anyway. Though I think you still have to be a member in order to download.

here's why I hate that site.

About a year ago, they had a lot fo the newly released extreme simfiles. So people start dlin them. They run out of bandwidth. Ok. Then they ask people to donate money to the, o they can get a new server. So then people do that. The simfiles never came back. They bascailly just took the people's money and ran. Bunch of sh!theads in my book.
