Metal Dance Pad

Im really torn between several things at the moment and I need some help. More than A couple of years ago I I always grabbed the latest dancing stage games up till now. And iv al ready been through about 6 plastic dancmats which is quite a doggy if you think about it. I was wonderin if anyone had a metal or solid dance pad and if its actually worth getting in the long run because at the moment im sick and fed up of getting these poor plastic ones. and are they good quality, state any advice because iv reached the limit of buying plastic dance mats.
