The Birth of DDR Club

Me and a few of my friends are trying to up and start a school DDR club. I got myself electred president, and now I seek help from others on this board who have started a club: how can we make this successful?

So far, we (about 5 of us) have been meeting in a teacher's room with provisions for 2 systems and a total of 4 modded pads. We have two other pads floating out there if we decide to do a third system.

How can we make this a smashing popular success? People at this school are interested in DDR, although not many are good at this- how can we invite the noobs without scaring them away?

It is currently at lunch, once a week on Tuesdays. We need to find a way to get the word out about this.


Oh- and one peculiar condition. Everyone on my campus (ap. 3000 people) appears to know my name and who I am. I KNOW we can use this somehow.
