Should I buy this odd DDR Metal Pad? (not in the other post)

Hey, I found this really weird pad on ebay for a really cheap price. It comes in a box and you have to assemble it (what fun!). I dont know if this is a more common pad and this is just the box it comes in or if it is just a scam.

Just wanted to know if anyone has ever seen this thing before or know about it. I have been looking at metal pads for a while and haven't seen this before. This prolly just a piece of crap, but for like $50 (including shipping) I wanna know if it is worth the shot.

(I read most of the big metal pad discussion and found nothing on it... not that I would recognize anyway b/c I dont know what is is x_X)

the picture in the background is a pic of a stepping superior 3 machine it has 6 circular panels color coated to step on its funny its not even made by konami lol but the pad i would for 50 bucks and mod it
