I found out MacAddict actually did a how-to to setup a Mac for DDR. I think they did it on that dud pyDance, but that's not the point.
If by some luck of the draw, could somebody PLEASE look in that issue and tell me what they used to calibrate a dance pad for proper play!? Please. I'm getting real tired of finding a compatible adapter AND some friggin' Mac OS X software to run it right.
I checked out my pad on a PC, and the arrows are being registered as analog sticks on a DualShock pad. If anybody knows how to fix this on a Mac, please say so. Thank you. |

Well, I use the EMSUSB adapter (you can get it from levelsix.com), and it works fine for me. I use Linux btw, but when I took my Flux and the Adapter to my friends house, it worked fine on his Mac. Are you running OSX or OS9? He was OSX, which could be the difference. And if you still haven't upgraded to OSX, I'll make fun of you
EDIT: Oh yeah, no additional software required. We just plugged it in, opened StepMania, and we were having fun. |
