|
|
For those of you who have the homestyle IIDX pad, you probably know the turntable is horrible.
The plastic donut shaped rings which the turntable rides on gets scratched and acquires crap on them which causes the grinding and stiff feel.
All thats needed to fix that is a slipmat, which is used just like in the real turntables.
Please check out my quick mod. It has made my IIDX turntable 10x better and give it that more realistic feel.

After a year of heavy usage, my turntable isn't stiff or stuck, it's quite loose and responsive - not at all far off from the arcade machine I've played on.
That said, if anyone tries this, let me know if it makes a difference. (GET IT?!)
(P.S. - it's "scratch", not "skratch". Trust me.) _________________

You can just tighten or loosen the screw with the washer beneath it to make the turntable as stiff or as loose as you wish. |

actually ive found that the screw which holds the turntable inplace, doesnt do much to tighten or loosen it, unless you completely take off the screw assembly which holds it down. thats why i recommened you screw it all the way down with my mod, as it makes no difference in tightness and it will keep your turntable from moving up and down.
and trust me after doing this mod, being able to gently spin the pad rather than forcing it, like it felt before, makes it a whole better experience, especially for you guys who do the pinky scratch. _________________
