Does anyone have a link to a site with working Extreme skins? The ones in Phrek's topic are broken.
If you don't know one, a site with cool skins would be acceptable, as well. Thanks.

there is one out there with a minor problems, the link should be somewhere in this forum... search extreme skin, you might find it. ;p

Yes, that's where I got my original skin from. But, I was wondering, are there any skins that work for alphas over 3.9 Alpha 8? That's what I'm using now.

Same. I need something that will work with anything above alpha 8.

The reason why the Extreme skins don't work is because of the metrics file.
Bear with me here: Go to DDRManiax.net and head to their forum boards. Then enter the StepMania board, which coincidently, is the one that's linked from stepmania.com.
Anywho, enter the Skinning subforum, and there's this huge DDREX thread. WORK BACKWARDS. Somebody posted the working metrics file as a download, and the updated EX skin. DO NOT GO PAST PAGE 17. Trust me, it's not a hard thing to do. |

Just copy it into your DDR Extreme theme folder. It works great for me...ehh... cept for a few probs.
1) The foot rating extends past the "border" of the box
2) Some songs seem to have extra difficulty ratings which are actually just buggy versions of each other (i.e. it shows the heavy steps as oni colored feet)
3) The frame for the banner in song select is quite a distance away from the actual banner.
