Hey, has anyone else who bought these mats had any problems? I've had mine for about a month and after some pretty intensive use, both control boxes have gone totally screwy E2.gif
One doesn't register right or up signals any more, and one, you plug in and it goes mad, misfiring or just ignoring any input from the pad.

The pads and the convertor are fine, the boxes are the problem.
Anyone else have any similar problems/remedys

Allright, I sorta read your post fast, but have you cleaned the arrows lately? Most non-CF pads use foil-on-copper contacts. Could just be the foil started to flake down onto the copper. It may be it, may not, but either way cleaning the arrows wouldn't be a bad thing. Hope that fixes it, if not, well, more knowledgable people are around.

Naw, I'll say it again just to make it clear the problem isnt actually on the mat, nor the PS-PC convertor, but in the control box itself (the black rectangle thingy) that sits between the two.
So unfortuantely cleaning won't help E2.gif

One of the first things that I did. It's all very well soldered and I can see no connection problems. Damn. disgust.gif

Hi, I am going to buy either the CF or the metal with rail on liksang. But before I make my choice I had some questions for you. First about the railing...can it support rail flares or other misc. tricks? If so, for how long do you believe this will last if I use it a lot? is it worth my money if I buy two? How long do you think these will last for me and do you know of any online reviews of this I can read? thanks man.

Hey there,
the bars are pretty solid and can stand a fair bit of weight. As long as you weigh under about 15 stone max you should be able to do most things you can in the arcade ('cept stuff like matrix walks but you're not gonna walk on your tv now are you E13.gif ) hope this helps your desicion

my black controller box broke as well, my pad is alright and it still lights up when i step on it, but it doesn't send info to my ps2. so...i have a pad that only lights up. =P i think it might be a problem with the plug that's on the controller box. or you might have to replace the transistors, cause they might have burned out. (i'm goina try to do that on mine)

if everything else fails, crack open ur pad and cut the wires and solder them to a cheap ps controller and make ur own controller box. erm.gif

mymybox.com sells replacement 9 pin usb plugs, but they(mymybox staff) aren't very responsive...-_-;;; i'm still trying to buy one and its been 2 weeks. they must have a lot of business. sigh..
