I tried playing DDR while I had the flu and I passed Bad Routine with an A. After that, I nearly passed out... riiight.gif I missed a week of school too. laugh.gif I'm better now, but my damn Mom wouldn't let me go to the mall to play DDR.

o_O You people are supposed to let your bodies rest while you're sick! I've been sick for about a week, and playing DDR is something I haven't been doing because of that. I want to get better quickly though, so I can play again!

When I get sick, sometimes DDR makes me feel better. Because of the exercise I am focused on, it makes me forget about being sick. And the heavy breathing will stop my nose from running.

Whenever I get sick (which I am today), I play DDR with a controller. It may not be as fun, but at least I can play the much harder songs and pass them.

Normally, when you're sick, you stay home so that you can rest, and not be miserable.
When you exersize, your immune system stops doing anything. That means you're making it worse.
In other words, you're stupid.

when you're addicted to DDR, it's hard not to go and play. BELIEVE me on this. i was sick with allergies last month and i ignored my dad who told me not to go, cause i would get real sick, and i played at the arcade, and i was seeing spots, i thought i was going to pass out. BAD idea. but i'm better now, and i can have 5 hour sessions easily with no problems. biggrin.gif

One time, I was really sick, I was starting to get better, then I played DDR. This Was before I could complete most nines. I played for about 2 hours straight on Comparitivly hard songs. I remember choosing My Summer love on maniac. I acually AA'd it!

There's no need for flaming.

Well, what does it matter? I'm better now.
Besides, I only played one song anyway.

LOL I once played when I was sick...it was when I was still doing 4-footers, but I spent like two bucks just playing it. When I was done, my back felt like it was in tatters... Just goes to show you just how many of us gain intellegence while we are sick....XD!

In my experince playing with anything but a cold leaves you feeling horrible and possibly keeps you from doing songs u normally can. However last time I had a cold i spent 5 hours at the arcade playing DDR then i felt good for a day or two, then I started feeling run down again so i played at home for like, 6 or 7 hours and I felt fine the next day, next week, ect . . .

Once, around September, after falling off my brother's scooter into the road, I went DDRing the next day at the arcade. Despite having huge gashes on the left side of my body, which have just recently healed, I didn't play any worse at all.

BTW, 1st time riding a scooter + large paved incline - safety equipment = lots of bandages

I was getting weak for some reason but i didnt want to stay at home so i went to the mall and chilled in the arcade. I was seriously weak by this point and had very little energy to stand up. One of my friends comes along and asks me to play with her...so i did. As my vision was blurring and i was stumbling every which way, i passed. But when i sat back down i nearly passed out. The next week i went to the emergency room with severly swollen neck glands, i wasnt able to eat or anything cause it hurt to swallow and my head felt like it was gonna implode. Turns out i had mono... riiight.gif YOU NEVER WANT TO GET MONO! IT SUCKS ROYAL! i still dont know who gave it to me...i share a lot of drinks with my friends...it was probably one of them...
