|
|
I Had An Idea! Wow, Thats A First!
Ok. I Really Like Playing Doubles And I Don't get To Go Out To The Mall Or Arcade To Play DDr a lot, so i play at home. but when i try to play with my ignition pads, they tend to move away from each other and i miss the buttons all the time. Well, Here's My Idea. What If The Pads were like zipped together? i mean, you can unzip them if your playing single, or zip them together when you playing doubles. i think its a great idea. Cause usuing duct tape doesn't always work for me! What Do you People Think? i mean, it sounds simple, but i mean, if they would make Version 3 Ignition Pads or something like that, They Could Add Zippers to it Or something to keep the pads together.
Well, Tell me What You Think! _________________

Cobalt Flux pads have a doubles kit to connect two pads together. I don't know about the Red Octane metal pads, but they might, too. |

Sounds like a good idea, seeing if the foam padding can be broken down into storable sections and that the pad fold in two without the padding. If this pad idea fall under, you can always keep both pads in place by using duct tape to bind the bottom of both inner sides. _________________

i mean, the zipper could be above the other zipper where you insert the foam and all, but its a great idea i think _________________

If you play like me that zipper would be pulled apart and shredded in a matter of days under the stress. _________________

I have two BNS Ultra-DX pads (Ignition 2.0) and I have them have them mounted on wooden boards, then the two boards are literally latched together. These are the same kind of latches you put on fences or tool shed doors--- these things haven't separated once. The only trick is that you'll have to drill holes to guide in the screws that hold the latches in place and then file the ends of the screws that poke out through the bottom of the board, but it's a relatively inexpensive mod that's surprisingly effective. I'll try to get pics of it sometime. |

Well, I Mean, Ever Since i Got Hit By A Car I Don't Play Like Crazy Anymore, So I Won't Play Wildly. But Im not Talking Bout Any Zipper. I Want Something That Won't tear Apart Easily. Something Heavy-Duty. Lol |

I do too. Well, on my soft pads; they're not ignitions. This works great. What I have is a $2 Velcro pack from the local hobby store; it connects in 4 places on the pad. Haven't had a problem with it yet! _________________
