I have seen some hard plastic dance mats selling on ebay. They are the 6 button typeand the middle says stay cool. Also sold at www.buynshop.com. I have never played but plan to start and its also for my 2 kids ages 6 and 3. I dont know if the hard plastic mat is better or the ignition soft pads. |

dont buy that one, its pretty bad, very loud and less responsive then other pads.
go for the ignition soft pads, best bet all around

PLEAAAAAAAAAAASE!!! dont buy ANY hard plastic pads.
I bought 2 of them about 2 years ago and I ended up throwing both of them away in about 3 months.
Either go soft, or metal, but for the love of God, NOT PLASTIC!! |

Hahahaha, you're the one from the CF forums, no? Anyway, I would once again suggest ignition pads anyday over the hard plastic mats. Aside from the metal pads made by CF, RO, and possibly BNS, none of the hard pads will last any longer than any soft pad will...and they will certainly cost more. _________________
