Who here has ever fallen while playing DDR?

I did once while trying to do MaxX double heavy...threw my feet out to hit the steps, then slipped backwards...

When I was first learning to play the beginning of Afornova, I got pretty disoriented and fell off, that was a really really long time ago though.

Hah, funny you mention that...I didn't fall, but I got lightheaded after I played Holic the other day. The six jumps in the middle of the speed section nearly killed me.

I seem to remember my foot slipping off the back of a modded soft pad once, but that's about it. I think it might be kind of fun to have a really spectacular fall off an arcade machine, as long as you take several other people out with you (the ones that lean on the bar while you're playing, maybe).

Ha ha, yeah. As long as you hit some idiot that's way too close.

I don't think I've fallen (yet?).

June 6th 2003: Left foot slips off left edge of mat - on doubles game where I needed to scurry to right side - causing me to fall onto right knee (bruise = week) and left hand's outstretched fingers (cartilage damage = 3 months).

Fuckin' game. disturb.gif

Does it count if we seen someone fall?

One of my friends was shadowing at a DDR party that he put on. He shadowed a friend of his. He yelled and fell off of the dance pad. It was great. He was moving towards his friends pad and he lost his footing and fell. He was ok, though.

As for me? I haven't fallin', but I've tripped a couple of times.

Yep, fallen plenty of times. Usuallly ened up with a rug burn on the knees or a couple of scratches and bruises. Almost twisted my ankle a couple of times as well. didn't like that too much.

On Do Me! Light Singles, after the third spin around section, my face got introduced to the screen because I was so dizzy from all the spining and anouther time I ran off the stage on End of the Century Doubles Heavy, scared the crap out of the guy playing KoF next to the DDR machine.

I was goofing off on Do It All Night trick, went to step on the up arrow, and stepped a little too far. My foot landed half on and half off the pad, i slipped forward and almost hit the screen. I ended up with a sprained ankle.
