Overrated:

Afronova - I could watch people play any mix past 2nd, save 6th, and someone will play this in a matter of 20 minutes if there's plenty of people waiting to play. Give it a rest, people.

Waka Laka - Waka Laka make you fly...and hurt my ears.

Across the Nightmare - Not only is it not danceable, but it gives me that wild western feeling, which I dislike.

DXY! - Good IIDX port, but the fact that it's overplayed makes it feel like it originated on DDR.

Underrated:

Last Message - Great song, never played because like people said, "OMFG THEY'RES TEH DXY!!!!11!11!!@#"

Happy Wedding - I've yet to hear this on DDR, but I've heard it on IIDX and it's a great song. Maybe the fact that it has the word "wedding" in it is why people don't like it.

Crash! - The singing isn't THAT bad.

Vanity Angel: Awesome song, awesome steps. Love it, but it's not played much from what I've observed.
i feel...: You all know how much I love this song. But it's barely played at all. Anyone know why? It's one of the most beautiful Bemani songs I've heard. Oh yeah, and for anyone who likes the original i feel.... pick up the DDRMAX2 USA V-Rare and give i feel... New Hope Mix a listen. Just amazing.

I'll probably think of more later, but all I really want played more is i feel...

This thread really would have to be done with some sort of survey of the crapload of DDR players there are. I mean honestly, gs68, your views are biased on your arcade(s). Where I play, I never hear DXY! played and to me it's underrated. Same goes for AtN, which I played earlier tonight for like the third time ever and I thought to myself, "People should play this more. The Oni steps aren't bad at all."
I agree with Afronova to an extent. It's been around for a while but not too many people around here play it, saving whatever shreds of dignity it still has. AM-3P has been around a while too but from what I've seen, people still play it cuz it's really good but I feel it's still somewhat underrated. I love the darn thing and I play that song ALOT.
Let's Groove on the other hand is starting to become overrated/overplayed here. Mostly because I play it half the time trying to FS it for the crowds.

But yeah... I think I made my point in the first part of this post...

and just tonight i decided to play I Feel... over and over until i got AA or close to it and for some reason the highest i could get was a B =( ive gotten an A before but i couldnt do it again tonight out of ALL the times i played it...im really starting to like that song but for some reason i cant get the damn steps down...*cry*

KiMMerry, people in Albany NY (where I am) play Love <3 Shine so much sometimes it isn't funny (#1 on one of the movie theater machines downstairs, people in Albany).

Zeta (I don't know whether I've met you yet or not), not gonna lie...I sometimes DO play a few of the same songs, but that's usually 'cause of the fact that I'm just tryin' to build stamina (I do So Deep, Witch Dr, EE, EotC, an other really tiring songs over and over), but at least I usually try to do different tiring songs each time. Under and overrated songs vary by arcade. I've noticed that no1 so far in this thread has said A is overrated, but at the MSU arcade at UNLV its #1 on the players best list. I hear it at least 10x a day. I try to play a variety of songs, but I have my favorites. Like Moba Moga, sry i just love the song. But recently i've started a plan to sabotage the players best list with some of the most underplayed songs at the arcade. The list is as follows:
