Friend wants good, cheap home pad

My friend is getting into DDR and wants to get a pad to play StepMania on his computer. Since he's not majorly into I was thinking maybe a cheap ignition pad or even the new Konami pad (thats supposedly better). I dont know where to get the new konami pad by itself in the first place (so help me), also what kinda pad do you think he should get?

PS. He just joined these forums and his name will be gershe101 but he can't post yet so I did this for him

if he has xp get one of the cheap lpt1 port pads [got mine for 3 bucks on ebay]. I have the drivers for it [windows 200/xp]. You can also use my mod
