I doubt you'd get much enjoyment out of it, but yes it is possible. Though it is more fun to play IIDX on a Pop 'n controller. |

I've done it. 5 key is at least sort of playable on the easier songs.
I passed Total Recall, anyhow.
It's certainly not recommended. _________________

I can't imagine how that'd ever be fun.
For the same reason, I don't know how some of my friends managed to enjoy playing Bust A Groove on my DDR pads...
I've also tried playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the pad. It's doable, but damn...That's about the only time I enjoyed playing chargers. It's a pain in the buttocks trying to do any roll moves on the pad...
/me imagines Final Atomic Buster on a DDR pad... _________________

I remember I only had one Beatmania controller once and I decided to let my friend use that while I used one of those finger DDR pads (since it was CLOSE to the shape of a Beatmania controller)...didn't work half bad. I shoulda played it on my normal pads before I got rid of it, probably woulda been kinda fun to get used to. (Of course, this is coming from someone who loved the Game Boy Color Beatmania games, so say what you will.)
And, if you're ever in the mood to punish yourself...Tekken 3 with the DDR pads. _________________

ROTFL! I've done it w/ Tekken 4 and was tempted to try it w/ Soul Calibre 2... man it's bloody tough... but it's good for a few chuckles... |

i think the easiest game to play on a DDR pad becides DDR or any other dancing game, is probably just about every final fantasy game that doesnt require analog sticks and L/R buttons. that would probably be all of em up to FFVI |

I have NamcoMuseum for PS2, and although I haven't tried it yet, there's Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man on it, and I've wondered what it'd be like to play those with a DDR pad... I'll have to try it this week... _________________
