hey..how come in the american releases of ddr the songs are HORRIBLE, why cant the home versions be identical to the arcade mixes?
oh..and how come they never realeased 2-5 mix in the U.S.? |

First off, this should've been in console games.
Second, as has been beaten to death, the reason is the licensing process. You cannot easily license the same songs in the US as you can in Japan - nor would the bulk of the US marketplace WANT the majority of arcade songs on a home mix.
No random consumer is going to go "HEY, JENNY ROM! I LOVE HER! LET ME BUY THIS GAME!".
So anyhow, locked. Repost in Console Games if you really think this deserves more debate. _________________
