I'm not sure if this is the right spot, if its not please move it. Anyways my question is How should I got about convincing my arcade to look into/buy additional Bemani-like machines? All we have ATM is DDRMAX2, which I think they plan on upgrading to Extreme eventually. I would like to try and get a new Pump (we have another arcade with OBG and it breaks all the time and is in bad condition) or maybe IIDX or Pop'n'Music but I don't know about how to go about it. I heard from a friend of mine who works there whos been trying to get them to get Pump (DDR isn't his bag E10.gif) and the manager is convinced that it will lower amount of play on DDR (even though ive gotten like 5 people hooked on it recently happy.gif). So any tips you guys might have in convincing my arcade that getting more Bemani machines would be a good investment? I know I would go more often. Thanks

IIDX definetly, but it costs a pretty penny (the owner at my arcade was gonna get it untill he found out it was $8000). Pop'n music would also attract lots of people.

Pop'n Music would attract about five people at an arcade on LI.

All you have to do to convince an arcade owner is convince them that it'll make them more money. Very few arcade owners do it for the 'love of the game.' And even those that do usually stick with what will make them money.

Yes, I know. E2.gif But I've seen huge crowds form behind Pop'n Music in other states.

talk with the other players in your community and try to come up with an overall opinion of which one game would draw their money as well (or maybe even bring more people in), and then take it to the arcade...
