I was on Amazon.com today, and I was looking for CDs by Bus Stop, and I noticed the CDs are imports. I'm listining to "Long Train Runnin'" by Bus Stop, and they're speaking in pretty good English, but I can't tell if they might have accents. A strange thing I noticed at amazon.com was I found some non-import (American) Bus Stop CDs. Does this mean they sell their CDs in the States? _________________

Eh, maybe I just thought Bus Stop was fake and not a real artist. _________________

Bus Stop is a SAIFAM cover group. They're British, aren't they? Listen to "One Two" from 4th. I think SAIFAM is Italian...
But they are a real group (or as real as a cover band can be). CD Titles, I know, appear in the inserts for the DDR Soundtracks, represening the album from whcih they came, and Bus Stop CDs are represented. _________________

I saw the Bus Stop video for Kung Fu Fighting while I was in China. They're European, to be sure. Where from, I dunno.
Oh, and the chick they got to sing "Sexy Kung Fu Fighter" was skanky as hell, if that was indeed her in the video. _________________

Yes, they speak perfect English, but they are European. Bus Stop happens to be based in Europe(don't know if they're British...), so you will not be able to order their CDs anywhere except at Import shops.
In case you were wondering, Captain Jack, Bambee, Smile.DK, Cartoons (I think, correct em if I'm wrong), and a whole slew of other DDR artists are European, yet they sing/speak good English. _________________

Yeah. Actually a lot of artists prefer to sing/speak in English, even though it may not be their native language. Must be it's flow or something... _________________

Artists can sell more music if they throw english into their songs, because of the wider audience that can be reached. Look at all the DDR songs we love that have a little english in them. |

I'm always more amazed when people in America speak proper English. By the way, America is someone? |

I thought this was a thread about Bus Stop, not someone's English skills... _________________
