What are the offical konami soft pads like? I had 2 of the cypher games soft pads with the nonslip top and bottom. One of them died and instead of buying another one off ebay i figured i would get max2 bundle with the pad. The only thing i want to know before i buy the bundle is what the Konami pad is like, does it have a non-slip top and bottom, does it have lights that show the buttons register, and are they good quality.
If anyone needs a soft pad mod let me know i have one that fell off of the thread list.

Apparently they are going to reissue the official pads in a bundle for ddr max 2 us i have the same question about how good they are. right now i have the dpr 2 pad right now and its ok but i want to know is the official pad better.

you are right it is not on the market now but like darkknight said it is coming out with max2, which i cant wait for!!!!!

Konami's newest soft pads are very good. They're a huge upgrade from the last version. They seem a shade thicker, and the bottom of it uses non-slip gripping material, so the pad doesn't slide around a whole hell of a lot like previous versions. The top has a better surface as well.
