I'd say I'm obsessed. Probably about the point when you dream about it, you see arrows in your mind, you listen to songs and think up arrow patterns for thoes songs, most of your friends you've met at the arcade or in a forum, you start choosing DDR over sex. Yeah, then you're obsessed. E4.gif

because when ever you talk to someone you always say at least one thing about or referencing to the game. also you get a huge adrenaline rush when you see a machine and you have to go play on it. E4.gif riiight.gif E4.gif

Here were the signs I had when I realized I was obsessed:

1) You close your eyes and you see the arrows. Not only that, but you might even start dancing to what you see.

2) You listen to a ton of DDR music in your car and even sing along with the songs with vocals, and even the songs without vocals. You might even hum the beat patterns, tap your fingers to them, whatever.

3) You spend the days at home messing with DDR simulators in some way. Whether practicing songs you can't do in the arcade or wouldn't do at the arcade no matter what, making a song, skinning, whatever.

4) Every mall you go to you look for an arcade with a DDR machine, and you MUST play it when you see it. And you try to get the people you know into it as well.

5) When you're having your hair trimmed a a beauty college, you hear the original Let's Groove, and you not only sing along to the song, but you also dance to the steps. I actually did this with a recent haircut.

6) You take some sort of object to dance with, a fake afro to dance Let's Groove, a little horsey stick to play Cowgirl, something to look like a fool and have a blast. You might even use normal appliances lying around to play, Joze's infamous "stool" comes to mind.

7) You really really really analyze the music videos and get driven insane by the bears in Witch Doctor, the headbanging dog kids in 321 Stars, the exercising bunny in Blow My Whistle, or other things. You also might begin to yell out the phrases in the background videos of songs.

8) You start to know how the whole game works and know certain slangs like Cata, Gallop, AA, and so on, and you start to recognize most of the songs, their lyrics, steps, difficulties, and so on.

9) You begin to start friendships and grudges with people that you normally wouldn't if you or they didn't play DDR at all. You get involved with groups of others mainly because of DDR. I know I wouldn't have met some certain friends if not through this great machine.

10) You play when you're injured, have huge blisters on your foot, or even when you're dead exhausted, when you can't stop even when you know you have to.

11) You drink Ritalin and chase Solo as a habit.

When you go back through the massive archives of dead threads, and pull up one that's the exact same as the one you're posting on from seven pages back.

I do that, but then again I do that to all the songs that I know the lyrics to, I just like to sing :-/

And I most definetly tap my fingers to the beat, I pretty much to that to all songs I like.

I get really really antsy around a machine. No matter where or when I shake my hands and breath heavily if I can't play. And afterwards I go insane thinking about playing on the machine. And if I do get to play I usually fail horribly but I never care.
