I was sharing DDR pads with my boyfriend and then he went back to school - so now I'm pad-less. I want a new pad but I'm kinda broke and currently unemployed, so I don't have a lot to spend on a pad. My question is what is the difference between the following pads?
Cypher Ignition V2http://www.cyphergames.com/50501054.html
and
Level Six Ignition V3http://www.levelsix.com/products/playstation2/deluxeDDR_v3.shtml
What I want to do is get a good pad with a good insert (but not the best because I'm going to mod it later). |

I decided to go with the Cypher Games pad because I bought one from them before and it worked out pretty good. I really would have appreciated a response or suggestion. I'll let y'all know how it goes when I get them in.

Sorry to tell you this but you should have gone with the 3.1 from Level Six. I think theres a problem with soft foam instead of the hard foam in the 3.1 . My ebay iggys with soft foam died and so did a lot of iggy 1.0s with soft foam. _________________

Shoot! Well actually I ended up ordering the V3 from LevelSix because Cyphergames site was down and a salesman from LevelSix emailed me about the return policy and they have a 30 day return policy. So I figured that seemed pretty safe. Thanks for answering! I can't wait to get my pad in! _________________

It's good to see you went with L6... Cyphergames pads now suck. I had 4 good ones over the last year, but the latest two are horrendous. I swear the cords are no more than 3 feet long, and the pads WILL NOT lay flat. Even when they are taped down to my plywood securely, they still raise up just north of the down button. _________________
