BeatMania arcade machines -Upgrade Kit questions-

Erm... yeah, I think I may come across a BeatMania 3rd Mix machine, and I was wondering, do they have any kind of upgrade kits avalible for it? And if so, what would be the most recent mix I coudl get?

It can always be upgraded to BM: The Final. So in other words, it can be upgraded to anything.

Good luck finding a "the Final" kit. Expect to pay mucho dolla if you find one as well.

A 3rd Mix machine can immediately be upgraded (or downgraded) to the following using new romchips (there are ten of them) and a new hard drive:

Beatmania
Beatmania 2nd Mix
Beatmania Complete Mix 1
Beatmania 4th Mix
Beatmania 5th Mix
Beatmania Complete Mix 2
Beatmania Club Mix
Beatmania f/ Dreams Come True
Beatmania Core Remix

The following versions require the chips, the HD and an additional daughterboard. Make sure that if you are purchasing an upgrade for one of these that it includes the daughterboard.

Beatmania 6th Mix
Beatmania 7th Mix
Beatmania The Final
