What are some of your ideas for remixes of songs?

I would like to see a fast (say 160-70 bpm) mix of AM-3P like in a slightly higher key.

Four words: Dynamite Rave Medieval Mix.
"Come on! Come on! Arise! Where art thou? Where art thou?"

I would like to see a V remix, there is one out already, and its faster, I love the sound of it.

I actually hate remixes, but something like Dynamite Rave Medieval Mix sounds fun and creative. I would actually like to see that. The Whistle Song doesn't need a remix though. I'm sure it wouldn't be the same quality as the original. And V doesn't need a remix, it just needs to have a longer version created for DDR Extreme. They really over edited V when porting over from Beat Mania.

I have millions of ideas for remixes in my head. If I only had a music mixing program, I could present those ideas to everyone. Some ideas I have are:

Midnight Blaze (Speed Mix) 170 BPM
Flash in the Night (Thunder and Lightning Mix) 158 BPM
Trip Machine Conclusion 170 BPM

<3

Except, there's already a Piano Mix of i feel... well, it's not just piano... but it's i feel.. (New Hope Mix)... it's not half as good as the regular i feel...

Higher MoMo Mix? I would give up almost anything for a MoMo mix of Higher! biggrin.gif

Dynamite Rave (Daddy Dj Mix) sounds like it might be fun, too...

Hey guess what?

They need another remix of Healing Vision... but it should be slower... and have more symphonic instruments...

Also.. I was in my room today and I started humming out my own version of Twilight Zone.. it's hard to explain, but the beats would be much more skippy and it would generally ruin the song for DDR, but would be great to hear in clubs and such...

And someone mentioned a Midnite Blaze remix.. we could always get the System S.F. Remix.. that's a nice song biggrin.gif

No more sped-up remixes. Oh, and no more remixes of the Max songs. They all suck, anyway.

Yeah, Konami has never managed to recreate the energetic magic of Max 300. Maxx Unlimited and Legend of Max are 2 bland examples of that mistake.

I like Paranoia Millenium (which is in Stepmania/DWI)...a completely different and yet eerily similar addition to the paranoia brothers. I also think they should do some trance remixes of some songs (MaxX ResurexXion, also from Stepmania/DWI, is freakin' awesome song). And I also heard a pretty cool remix of era...it was dubbed step mix, but i don't know if that was its actual name.

this is all just my opinion.

I think they should put the ParaPara mixes of Feeling Of Love and Kiss Kiss Kiss on DDR..the originals are good, but I like the remixes a lot too.

and they should put the BLT mix of Sana Molette Ne Ente on DDR..it's more active, so to say..

I would push my mother down a flight of steps to hear Max3. PM me if you have it.

Back in the day I made a few remixes. Dynamite Rave (Reconstitution Mix) had a new shuffly beat and "interesting" arrangement. AM-3P (Club Mix) was basically just a very repetative AM-3P with a new rhythm track. The original is the the best though. I was so dissapointed with the lack of 303 in the 303 Bass Mix. Shame on you, Asami! I also did a Beastie Boys vs. Uzi Lay track. It's not too interesting.

Some projects I scrapped before completing were Silent Hill (New Fear Mix) and Afronova (Booyakasha Mix). The Silent Hill remix was more of a joke playing on the fact that Silent Hill is the name of the scariest video game in the world. I had a really cool beat going on in that one and a sample of Harry Mason panting. I wanted to throw in some Yamaoka style arranged noise and spooky piano vamps, as well as a long quote from a horror movie but it never saw fruition. I also pitch shifted the hell out of the vocals. It was funny. My remix of Afronova was trying to be sorta tribal techno but it never got past the stage of me making new beats.

What I'd like to see at this point is a hard house remix of Stomp To My Beat. I could probably do a dancehall version of Jam Jam Reggae. I agree, we need less speed mixes of songs. Sure, people love to play fast songs for the challenge, but can't we just use some Lenny D for that or something? Ah, who'm I kidding, Dancemania will NEVER do a hardcore series... I'd like to try a remix of R3 that brought out the nasty hard trance elements a little more.

Jam Jam Reggae (Dancehall Version)
R3 (Ear Assault Mix)
Stomp To My Beat (Hard House Style)
Look At Us (Epic Trance Mix)
Janejana (Tribal Mix)
Aoi Shoudou (Euro Trance Style)

It'd be fun, ya?

Momo is a guy E15.gif He does remixes for Dancemania's Speed series, as do B4 Za Beat, K.O.G, K and Grandale.

this might be a little off topic but it's in the topic of 'remixes' so why not..

who else thinks that luv to me disco mix is a total disgrace to the ~amd mix~ ;( you can't even really hear the song sung.. it's very muffled.. i dunno i'll listen to it.. but it doesn't really compare to ~amd mix~ ... i like remixes too.

i'd like a english version of dive to come out, just not that one dive into your heart.. that one kind of freaked me out...

They NEED to put Dynamite Rave SEV into DDR.

I also smell a slow Max remix. Don't know why.
