What do you think, out of all the music game mixes, has the best music overall? I'm not talking about difficulty or fun-factor, just quality of music.
I personally think GF6th/Drummania 5th mix has the best music of all. It has so many attractive songs like My Sweet Darlin', Motto, Brazilian Anthem, Long Train Runnin', You Give Love a Bad Name, Classic Party Triathalon, Fireball, plus all the classics. It owns. |

My arcade's Bemani selection is EXTREMELY limited, in fact, all we've ever had is DDR. Right now we have a DDR Extreme machine, so overall I'd say that  . Umh, for home mixes though, I have a couple o' favorites! I'd say that I totally dig:
DDRMAX2
IIDX 6th Style
DDR 3rd Mix
Yeah, I've got my Pop'n 8, and I like it so far, but I've only played 30 minutes so I can't say I've seen much  ! Uh, I've got the rest of DDR, DM 1st Mix and GF3rd + DM2nd and GF4th + DM2nd should be on their way, or at least I hope. |

Pop'n Music 8. The quality of music is just astounding. I could go on for litterally minutes just listing off all the amazing music.

Beatmania IIDX 3rd Style for PS2.
Nothing beats 3rd Style's soundtrack for PS2, especially since it has all the old-school IIDX songs like e-motion...

That's the sad thing, though. I've never gotten to play it. I've just heard all of the songs and watched videos of people playing it. The only mixes I've gotten to play are 3rd and 7th.  |

One of the most highly underrated bemani soundtracks ever. I mean, it has good songs and then it has awesome songs. |

| The best is by far Beat Mania IIDX 9th Style. The quality of music has increased with every new Bemani, theresfore Beat Mania IIDX 9th Style has the best music. DDR Extreme is a close second, but Beat Mania has more good quality music than DDR Extreme's song list which sometimes is more geared towards the cheesy side. |

Amen to that. Makes me wish the OST had more of the interface music, like the tune playing when you choose a mode/song.
Anyway, while Beatmania 6th+ Core is awesome, it has nothing on 5th Append, that games soundtrack was AWESOME.
DDRMAX 6th Mix comes in as a close second. I hated Ghosts and Firefly.
