i haven't lost any weight as i only weigh 100 lbs to begin with. I also don't have a home game so i only get to play once a week. I've heard of people doing it though. One thing it has helped with is my stamina. I'm able to run longer at faster speeds.

I've lost around 5 pounds, that's it. I'm at 225 right now - so there's LOTS this hungry hippo could stand to lose. I still get puffed going up stairs.

The title could afford to 'loose' one O. It's spelled wrong.

I started at 175 and now float around 150-153. A lot of fat has gone but also I've toned up my legs a lot and since muscle weighs more... yeah.

I'm playing the workout mode on Konomix, my goal each day being 1000 calories.
So far I've been able to do it, but I'm still a little skeptical about the validity of it all. I mean, when I checked out the equivilant charts, it said that what I did was the equivilant of running 351 km (about 218 miles) and swimming 155,842 meters...
Meh, whatever. I've noticed some weight loss ^^

o i wouldn't worry about it, i'm 14 too. I weighed 150 when i started and now i weigh about 140, and that's after a few weeks. so no it's not unhealthy, just drink a lot and make sure you take breaks every once in a while:)

I definitely lost some weight when I started playing DDR. I used to play tons and that made a big difference in what sort of shape I was in.

Hmmmmmmm well just because you sweat that doesnt mean that you actually lose weight.

Anyway DDR hasnt gained me or lost me any weight what so ever. I'm still 140 lbs. Very very light for a 19 year old. And I'm also a very very active young man.

-Martial Arts
-Breakdancing
-DDR
-Sk8boarding
-Surfing

That's probably why.

DDR is just another one of my hobbies. IT's a good workout depending on how much you do it. (If you ask me) My metabolism is also SKY HIGH. That contributes to my no weight gain but very very hungry body type...

I once weighed around 325 and now am at about 290-300. I've lost some...but it's just now became part of my real routine (daily for about an hour)...so yeah... erm.gif

I lost 50lbs. by playing DDR, 50lbs. in about 3-4 months. I was 200lbs.+ and now I'm down to 142lbs. and I'm 16 years old. Didn't even use the work out mode, lol.

Play Heavy mode and reduce your daily calorie intake, and viola.

I lost maybe ten pounds when I first started, then hovered. Maybe it's because I haven't changed my drinking diet much (all Coke, all the time). My gut is always swinging between bouts of being there and not.

In other words, DDR really isn't losing me weight so much as keeping me from gaining it.

50 pounds in the past year.

I normally play at home, 1-5 times per week. A typical workout is to pick a mix, set it to heavy/maniac event mode, and play (but not necessarily pass E1.gif) every song at least once.

Someone I was chatting with at an arcade last week said he'd lost around 35.
