Who likes the song? (please don't post to tell how much you think it sucks) I like both the song and the steps. Anybody like The Reflex?

It's okay. I guess.

Incidentally, at a tournament I somewhat helped managed yesterday, this was one of two songs that were played for qualifiers. Out of maybe 20+ PAers who played it, only 2 were able to AA it.

It made me feel so good to hear everyone getting so angry and frustrated at being humbled by such a song. laugh.gif

I forgot how much I like this song. I haven't played it in a while. I think I'll play it today.

I'm somewhat of a Duran Duran fan for some reason (80s new wave forever!), but as for The Reflex, while it's great the first few times, I just feel the edits in DDRMAX2 cut it too short (ie to get it to 1:30 or so). I far prefer the cover of Ordinary World.

The Reflex rules you all, takes your mom out for dinner, and leaves her with the bill.

I remember this song when it was new, and it is still good today.

The DDR version though sounds like a CD dubbed onto a cassette. The high sound quality just isn't there.

Like the song goes...

The Reflex is a lonely child, sitting in the park...
With watching, over lasting clover, isnt' that bizzare,
Every little thing The Reflex does leaves you answer with a question more?

Can you imaging the other Duran Duran songs going into the next DDR mix, like Planet Earth, Girls On Film, Hungry Like The Wolf, The Chauffer, Save A Prayer (yeah right!), Is There Something I Should Know, The Union Of The Snake (remember the video during their Seven & The Ragged Tiger tour?), Wild Boys, Notorious, Skin Trade, I Don't Want Your Love (The rhythm is the power, that moves me, it's something you control, competely...), All She Wants Is, and many others more. Isn't that bizzare? Please reply, over! Thanks!

The song's awesome just because it sounds so out of place at any arcade. It's especially great if the machine's volume is up. =D

And ughhh, LTR and that...those are two of the toughest non cata songs to PA that I can think of.
