Carrying over scores in SM.....

My friends and I have played Stepmania 3.00 final for about a month now, blissfully ignorant that there even was a CVS version. A couple days ago I stumbled upon it and realized that it was about 100x better...

My problem is that I have the strange feeling that I cannot port over all our hard-earned scores.....

Please please please someone tell me that this is not true

it's true to believe. You can't hack your scores as easily as it was in v3 final, the CVS version has been fixed to put their scores inside the simulator somewhere, probably in their memory. Heck, I didn't even get saddened, because I like redoing the songs over, but once you upgrade the CVS version to another late CVS version, the scores will reappear as it was with the older CVS version.
