Fake Arrows

I was thinking, when they make the next mix, it will porbaly have a new type of arrow. (Like, the Freeze Arrow)

Well, I was thinking they should make Fake Arrows.

They would Red or some other noticable color.

See, thell be stuck in the song, somtimes on-beat, sometimes off-beat.

But when you hit them, you get a Miss.

Leeve them alone, you're fine.

I think that could make it alot harder.

That would be gr8 except they would hafta put it in a mode. If newbies came up on the machine and hit every arrow but sometimes it gave them a miss, they would get frusterated. (Just think how hard it'd be if they put some of those in Max 300 or something. You'd never be able to tell them apart lol)

They already have that for DDR... it's called Solo

Though it's always good to think up new ideas,I don't know about fake arrows. It's seems to me the theme of the game is "hit the arrows" and to include a mode that penalizes you for hitting the arrows would take away from the game play. I would think that such a mode would share the fate of the other lesser played modes like Little and Shuffle (at least, those are the modes I don't care for).

Who knows what they'll do with the next game but fake arrows sounds kinda stupid. Would piss too many people off

tap arrows

if you stay on a tap arrow for too long, you get penalized

Original idea: Stupid. The point is to make it hard to hit all the correct arrows. Adding extra arrows to confuse you defeats the point.

Tap arrows: Even stupider. Freeze arrows make things interesting because you have to do a lot of stuff with one foot. Fun. Tap arrows would just force you to hop around like an idiot to avoid holding your foot on that arrow. Not fun.

ok now everybodys making things that take to much thought

fake and tap arrows take away from the general experience, ddr is far from complexed, and making it complexed would most likley make you think too much, and that means not as much fun. i like smashin arrows, a fast song like HVAM with fake arrows and tapping arrows would be just plain dum

I think it would be good if they added mods like Anti-boost, Expand, Super Shuffle, X.25 and x.75 speed, and also some of the other EASY mods that are on Stepmania.

Why don't to try playing challenge mode on an extra mix, and you will see how dumb these ideas are. They have stupid chalenges like "don't hit the left arrow" or "hit every other right arrow". It's so bundle-o-stix and a waste of time.

Oh, and CEO of Bemani....

The new DDR or whatever they brewing up is going to be a totally new bemani. I think they already made it quite clear that 8th mix was the last one.
