| I was wondering where on the internet I can find a modchip that plays import games at a reasonable price on my PS2? I dont know much about soldering modchips and I have an older version of the ps2. Is their any good modchips that dont require much soldering or none at all for my type of system? I really want to play import games! Please help. |

Supposedly there's a device that snaps onto your PS2 and plays all imports, CD or DVD, for about $50. All you need is to swap a couple of boot discs.

| Yeah, the Swap Magic discs have worked for all the stuff I've tried so far, but I've heard reports that they don't handle some of the newer stuff. You can get a special replacement cover for your PS2 that has a lid like a PSX so that you can change discs without doing a knife swap and without installing one of the simpler swap mod chips. It's not a bad deal, really. |
