Legend Road...

Anyone here pass it?

I've had the notion in my head from when I first started playing DDR that one day I'd pass Legend Road (yeah I realize with the new mixes out it may not be the accomplishment it once was, but still). Finally I think I'm going to knuckle down and go for it. Though I'm pretty far from even attempting it, I've just been playing hard 9s and 10s to get my stamina up.

So anyone got tips for me...anything at all? It would be greatly appreciated.

i could probably pass it with some good pads. PSMO might screw me over though.

and id say to boost stamina, either whore out Maxx Unlimited and PSMO or just play ITG and Pump lol. ITG and Pump have boosted my DDR stamina immensely. and also practice conserving energy

This sounds like a thread from the golden age when DDR Extreme was still awesome.

I can FC every song in there except PSMO and Maxx Unlimited (3 NCs is my best). Oh and I'm also dyslexic without speedmods, so I need to work on that. But honestly if I ever practiced seriously I can get it within a month.

My advice is to practice each song individually and focus on FCing all of them or passing with very few NCs. Play sets of nothing but 10s to really get your stamina up. Before you know it you'll be picking Max 300 for warmups.

Haha and McLevelin, you do NOT need to know how to heel-toe for Legend. Its not like a 15 block stamina killer or anything. Hell-toeing will more than likely lead to losing a combo. In oni courses its 4 strikes and you're out.

MaxX Unlimited, Legends, and PSMO will be three songs you will want to practice continually. Once you can full combo them repeatedly with speedmods, try doing it without speedmods. Remember, you will be on 1x and VIVID (not Solo) for Legend Road. Not having Solo can really fux some players up, so be aware.

Oh yeah, if you play with the bar, practice playing the course's songs no bar so they can be easier once you start using the bar again. It kinda helped me pass some stuff in ITG.

Legend Road has been passed a trillion times ages ago.

I've fced every 10 on extreme several times so I could definitely pass legend road.

My main problem is reading PSMO on 1x. I can do it, but tend to botch up the VERY beginning for some reason.

I've gotten to psmo on legend road after attempting it 1-2 times. . .think i've done it twice.

I just never go to the arcade (once every 1-3 months) and hardly ever have time to play anymore for the time being =[.

Maybe next time i hit up the arcade I'll get a legend road pass.
