Open ITG in a DDR Cabinet

Does anyone have a simple FAQ or guide that would tell me what I should look for when purchasing a DDR cabinet with the hopes of installing OpenITG onto it?

ITG2 machines are becoming more and more scarce, and I might be able to pickup an Extreme cabinet for around 3k or less and do whatever I wanted to it. If i could make it a rather decent Open ITG cab, I'd be thrilled.
