Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the hottest dancing game ever, with this collection featuring over 150 of your (or somebody else's!) favorite DDR tunes ever, compiled into (somewhat amateur) continuous nonstop megamixes and stepcharted as such!
Audio/BG previews available here.
EASY Mixes
EASY Mixes collection available here.
TIME WARP Mix
115-135 BPM, 3-4-6-8 difficulty
Whether your heyday was from the original DDR in 1998, or the swingin' times of 1978, enjoy this mix of 70's covers featured in the original DDR. Step back in time with the original heavy chart, or test your timing skill with the challenge revisions over the ages!
Moonlight Vision Mix
49-194 BPM, 3-5-8 difficulty
Lift your spirits with this mix of bouncy party songs and smooth trance songs featured in 5th Mix. While I'll admit that I never got the *real* sound I was going for (particularly in the first song interchange), it still remains a very fun, playable stage.
*update from beta: Light/Standard steps now adjusted to match the Heavy steps. Whoopsie!*
Trance Sunrise Mix
70-140 bpm, 3-6-8 difficulty
This trance-inspired mix of stages featured in Extreme 2 and DDR STR!KE has been mixed together to flow at a continous, smooth 140 bpm; though one small, obvious part of the stage plays at half-speed.
*This mix is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the beta EX2 stage, and only one of it's songs is still featured!
Beach Party Mix
136-150 bpm, 2-5-7 difficulty
Cool yourself off with this light-sounding pop mix from DDR SOLO. It's lighthearted theme opens just like a day on the beach, and ends as crisp as a night there.
*Beta revision: Mostly an audio update, as I've finally got one song beatmapped properly, which allows for a smooth transition I've been going for between two songs, that the beta version didn't have. This also synchronizes one song to it's steps much better.
the REBOUND Mix
140 bpm, 3-5-8 difficulty
A heartfelt, if somewhat dark and entrancing mix of songs from ULTRAMIX 4, that illustrates many ways that people deal with difficult times; one that can also illustrate a story as well. But best of all, it's totally smooth, and hella fun to play!
FAIR Mixes
FAIR Mixes collection available here.
Pumped-Up Mix
115-145 bpm, 4-5-7 difficulty
Get pumped with this old-school mix of heavy-beat eastern hits. Some of the funnest Korean stages featured in 3rd Mix come together to create one of the most enjoyable stepcharts in history!
Midnight Blue Mix
130-170 bpm, 4-6-8 difficulty
Groove like a shooting star through the night with this batch of wicked-cool, fan-favorite showtunes featured in DDR 4th Mix. But don't do the crime if you can't do the time! :)
EURO FLASH Mix
145-165 bpm, 3-6-9-9 difficulty
A very euro-rave inspired mix of speedy tracks from 4th Mix PLUS come together in this mix, one of the funnest and most popular mixes I've conceived; and one of the only ones from the beta that required nearly no revision at all.
Twilight Sky Mix
49-196 bpm, 3-6-8 difficulty
This is a very fun and upbeat mix of house and rave stages featured in DDRMAX, and various incarnations of PSX mixes.
MAGICAL RUSH Mix
165-170 bpm, 4-6-8 difficulty
An awesome-sounding compilation of many popular upbeat, happy-hardcore songs from DDR EXTREME. It'll keep you jumping for joy!
HAPPY FEET Mix
150-160 bpm, 3-5-8 difficulty
Put your feet to the beat with this mix of HOTTEST PARTY stages, inspired mostly by 90's dance and NAOKI covers.
sudden departure Mix
95-195 bpm, 4-6-8 difficulty
Don't let the high-tempo songs leave you falling behind, in this mostly upbeat mix of 80's New Wave and Riyu Kosaka covers from HOTTEST PARTY. And don't let the ending get you down, either!
STELLAR Mix
140-170 bpm, 3-6-8 difficulty
Let your heart get carried away with this uplifting mix of KonamiPop songs, featured online in the US version of DDR SuperNOVA (or, you know... pretty much everywhere else OFFLINE). Keep your soul strong to the end, don't let it crash!
COSMOPOLITAN Mix
170 bpm, 4-5-8 difficulty
Time to step up and get some action! Enjoy this porngroove-inspired mix of stages from DDR SOLO, as they're averaged and mixed at a constant, smooth rate together. It's a good stage to be gettin' down to!
ORBITAL Mix
70-280 bpm 3-6-8 difficulty
Trance, pop and Hip-hop collide in this mix of songs featured from DDR SuperNOVA. Show what you know, and keep up the flow!
*Beta update: Complete redesign/rechart, featuring a couple of different songs, but in much the same vein as the beta stage. MUCH better timed, as well!*
underground groove Mix
64-256 bpm, 4-6-8 difficulty
This bass-heavy mix of stages from DDR ULTRAMIX comes together with a very smooth, dark, underground feel by combining downbeat club hits and entrancing Konami Originals.
Slow Dance Mix
56-180 bpm, 3-7-9 difficulty
Hip-hop and electro beats mesh through much of this mainly low-tempo mix, filled with continious and exciting action; after it's fun and folksy opening. A truly hot mix of DDR UNIVERSE stages, to not be passed up!
HARD Mixes
HARD Mixes collection available here.
stompin' club Mix
130-190 bpm, 5-6-8-9 difficulty
Get in gear with this driving techno mix of classic, challenging stages from 2nd Mix.
*Beta update: Light chart now actually features PARANOiA MAX's steps, rather than BRILLIANT 2U's, twice. Did I mention "whoopsie!"? XD
EXPLOSIVE Mix
150-190 bpm, 5-7-9-9 difficulty
Blast onto the scene, with this explosive mix of dynamite speed and rave hits featured in 3rd Mix.
*Beta update: Gave up trying to synch DAM DARIRAM on ONI. DYNAMITE RAVE is the only difference in the ONI chart now.*
MAX OUT Mix
135-??? bpm 3-6-8-10 difficulty
Get yourself into a mixed up world with this mix of smooth trance and heavy house stages from DDRMAX; conceived using one of the funnest mixing methods I've used yet.
*Beta Update: Audio revision, much smoother transitions. Naturally leading to better synch, as well; all at the removal of ONE step per chart.*
Spring Break Mix
136-190 bpm, 4-6-9 difficulty
Get to rockin' and knockin' with this awesome collection of DDRMAX 2 stages!
*Beta update: Total audio revision allows for the actual, smooth transitions I was going for in the beta, and the stage maintains a !considerably! smoother feel to it as a result.*
ELEMENTS Mix
75-300 bpm, 5-7-9 difficulty
Forces of nature come together like Captain Planet in this awesome-sounding, hard-hitting mix of exciting trance-rock stages from DDR SuperNOVA 2. The whole world is at your feet with this mix!
Beatmachine Mix
75-350 bpm, 5-7-9 difficulty
Get your heart pumping with this sporadic mix of killer breakbeats stages from ULTRAMIX 2. The smooth sound of this mix will make you one dancing machine!
*Beta update: Minor audio/tempo revision, reflected in the changed charts as well. Tends to create a smoother feel, and clears up the synching issues with route 80s.*
BOOGIEMAN Mix
125-300 bpm, 5-6-9 difficulty
This dark, heavy mix of rock and dungeon-inspired songs from ULTRAMIX 3 will be sure to chill you to the bone!
*Beta update: Timing, mostly. I -still- wonder if the official chart for "The Cat In The Moon" actually seems to go offbeat/skip a beat somewhere in that trancey-piano-sounding verse that's filled with long freezes (without the taps), and just before the percussion spurts. Any word from someone that owns/plays it on that? I'm sure you'll see what I'm talking about.
It seems to really work though, somehow.*
SoulHacker Mix
140-170 bpm, 4-7-9 difficulty
This is a cool mix of trance and speed trance from ULTRAMIX's Songpack series that combines to form a sensation that is both emotional and technological in nature. But that's not the point, the point is the killer-fun stepchart and cool sound of the mix!
*Beta revision: Audiable; Disabled the FLAW is no longer awkwardly drowned out by the overtaking intro verse of Love Me Do. The chart is pretty much the same, though.
TeknoFolklore Mix
155-200 bpm, 5-7-9-9 difficulty
This cool-sounding and challenging mix of stages from DDR UNIVERSE draws much of it's influence in electronic and traditional folk-sounding instrumentals.
EXTRA STAGE!! Mixes
EXTRA STAGE Mixes collection available here. This RAR contains each stage individually compressed, so you can open/play the extra stage series one at a time. It also lists what order to open them on "Order.txt".
Tropical Hazard Mix
??? bpm, 6-8-9 difficulty
This inital boss level pays it's respects to songs that have been considered "the hardest stage ever" throughout the original DDR mixes. This zip also contains the first set of extra1/extra2 crs files for the mix.
*Beta revision: Audio smoothening, minor stepchart adjustment.*
EXTRA STAGE #2
??? bpm, ?-?-?-? difficulty
The next logical step forward from Tropical Hazard, this mix incorporates several boss songs from later releases; and is batched with another extra1/extra2 course set, which is intended to replace the earlier ones, once completing it has been achieved. Or, you know - you get tired of trying to. That could happen, too!
*Beta revision: Proper beatmapping has allowed this mix to finally achieve the real transitional effects I was originally going for; resulting in a significant change in the stepchart as well. It now also includes a Challenge chart, from a couple of different influences.
EXTRA STAGE #3
???-??? bpm, ?-?-?-? difficulty
While not as physically exhausting as previous EXTRA STAGE candidates, this compiles a collection of entertaining and familiar-themed songs that will surely be enjoyed! This again, changes the extra1/extra 2 courses, and utilizes some modifiers you may not expect to see in the usual XS/OMES lineup.
EXTRA STAGE #4
??-??? bpm, ?-?-?-? difficulty
This splendorous mix captures both the magnificent and frustrating sensations of infatuation and love; while pairing it with incredibly high-level stepcharts. The Heavy chart has some slightly simplified patterns, making OMES-passage realistically achievable, but the Challenge chart retains the full, punishing impact of the songs featured!
*Beta revision: Minor implificiation of Heavy chart, one song removed entirely, another inserted, and the order rearranged slightly as a result.*
EXTRA STAGE #5
??-??? bpm, ?-?-?-!! difficulty
While this may not be as long-winded as the other extra stages featured so far, it is by no means any easier or less intense! This is a very tightly-timed mix of hot and cold songs that will leave you burning inside!
EXTRA STAGE #6
??-??? bpm, ?-?-!! difficulty
DISCLAIMER: Attempt this stage at your own risk! This stage is complete madness, and should not be attempted by anybody besides a trained professional. You have been warned!!!

I'm parsing the original link as well, but in case you got it as part of a collection (Complete/Extra), you'll want to d/l this update for it. |

Oh hey! A bunch of DDR songs mixed together poorly...with their original stepcharts...with drifting sync.
Just what I've always wanted. |

Hey, if you wanna contribute some "better" edits, I'd be glad to plug them in. But as it stands, this is an anniversary tribute to DDR as I, and most people here, have enjoyed it over the years. So yes, they use the OG charts, like being "Power Mode" for the series of older mixes over the years. HENCE THE TITLE. If that's not your thing, fine; but you don't have to be a dick about it.
And I'll admit that I may be no jiggens, but most of them are no worse than any Nonstop Megamix produced over the years. Maybe two or three transitions in the whole series came out more rough than I'd like them being. And where do you experience this drifting sync at? If there's a necessary fix, I'd like to make it happen; instead of being bicthed at about it.
Thank you for playing.
*EDIT*
Also, thank you for helping to troubleshoot a key mix in this project. Sorry if I seemed a little short-fused, earlier. Update coming soon. |
