MasterWok here. I'll be holding a custom songs ITG tournament at Game World in Menlo Park Mall (which is in Edison NJ) on Sunday July 13th. Sign up is at noon with a $7 entry fee (Plus 1 token per song played). The only reason it is one token per song is so that the winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) can have the maximum amount of prize money - in other words the arcade doesn't take in entry fees - Everyone who participates will get a free t-shirt  . I spent a ridiculous amount of time making these THIRTY TWO custom songs  for this tournament and hope to see everyone there. Everyone is guaranteed 5 songs, with a 2 song qualifier and a minimum of one round with 3 songs. All players will be divided into 5 original pools, each pool getting its own set of three songs. The rules are posted below:
-5 pools of players, top two (highest average percentage) players move on
-will resplit into two pools of 5, top two from each pool move on again
-two 1 vs 1 "pools"
-Finals
MOST IMPORTANTLY, this tournament is just for fun, and i tried to make all of these songs fun - I'm not trying to weed out the best player in the world or something - most of these songs are 9's and 10's and it won't go up to 11's/ (one 12) until the semi finals. This is just something I really wanted to do before I go away to college and don't get the chance to. Yeah, I just figured there's no real "jersey" region on the list and most kids probably don't check them out often anyway...it still kinda fits in this forum |
